Volunteer with Purpose

Mindful Traveling | Holistic Co-living | Community Empowering

Welcome to NomadTurtle Chiangmai, a growing community of change-makers passionate about mindful living and local empowerment.
Our volunteering program is rooted in the heart of Kadsala, a village of artisans, educators, and families working to preserve their heritage while creating space for global connection.

About the Community: Kadsala

About the Community: Kadsala is a social enterprise that aims to preserve woodcraft tradition and support local kids’ education. Before the pandemic, over 100 artisans made a living through woodcraft. Today, only 8 remain. Together with volunteers like you, we’re working to revive this rich tradition and ensure it thrives for years to come, while supporting local children’s education.

Sanctuary for the soul

Help renovate our space to create a sanctuary for the community

The Volunteer Sanctuary

We’re transforming a sacred, locally built home into a co-living sanctuary for those who want to live simply, support local communities, and explore wellness practices.
Surrounded by nature, this space was built from sacred wood and blessed by a local shaman. It’s a place to slow down, reflect, and connect with yourself, others, and the land.

The facilities:

Single & shared bedrooms
Kitchen & communal dining area
Yoga sala & wellness space
Co-working & meeting rooms with internet
Café & restaurant
Washing facilities
